Since COVID hit, lockdowns and safety concerns have prevented many of us from visiting our doctors in person. Providing online medical advice has been a necessary pivot for doctors to safely support their patients. The same goes for the provision of mental health services. During COVID we have seen new platforms emerge which provide access to much needed mental health counselling or which help employers manage mental health issues in the workplace. The acceleration of virtual health services in all their forms is likely to continue after COVID and permanently change service delivery as this article suggests:
